Analyze It With MS Excel drops leading or trailing zeros due to design.

Cause:

When Analyze It with MS Excel is used to save a report as an Excel file, Access drops any leading or trailing zeroes stored in text fields. For example, the value '0034.5600' is saved as '34.56'. This is by design of Microsoft Access.

Solution:

There is no workaround.
